Cookies

Cookies - is brief textual information that is sent by the web server and is saved on the side of the user (on the hard drive disc, the place of saving is decided by the internet browser).

The parameters of cookies facilitate the reading of information on it by only the server that created it. The computer shall only provide access to the information included in the “cookies” to the website from where it is originated.

Cookies are aimed at enabling the memorization by the server of particular information about the session of the internet connection. The application of cookies and similar technologies is also aimed at adjusting the service to the needs of users, as well as statistical purposes.

Types of cookies files used in the service

There are two types of "cookies" applied – "session" and "constant". Session cookies are temporary files which remain on the user’s equipment until logging out of the website, or switching off the software (internet browser). We avail of “cookies” associated with a session for technical purposes, e.g. to facilitate better navigation on the website in order to enable the adjustment of your preferences associated with using our website, as well as remembering the users logged on.

"Constant" cookies remain on the user’s equipment for the period stipulated in the parameters of the cookies file, or until the moment of their manual removal by the user. Cookies of this type are stored on the hard drive disc of the user with the aim of defining whether users are new to the website and who comes back.

The parameters which the website places in the form of cookies:

resolution of the monitor (for the purposes of statistics),
the encoded hash of the session (security),
the encoded base 64 additional pieces of information about the session (for the purposes of statistics),
user ID (for the purposes of statistics),
option "remember me" while logging in (hash for autologging, constant cookies),
service probes (security, for the purposes of statistics),
for the purposes of remembering specific settings of the user (for the purposes of statistics, constant cookies),
service of basket of goods in the online store.

If a user uses the services of Google, we apply various technologies for the gathering and saving of information – this may encompass, e.g. transferring at least one or more files of cookies or an anonymous ID to his/her equipment. Deactivation of cookies files service

If you do not wish cookies to be on your computer – whether constant or associated with the session, you can switch off cookies on your browser.

However, switching off cookies may have an impact on the entire functioning of the web sites. In particular, it would not be possible to log in, avail of the shopping basket on the online store, nor make purchases or payments.
